Wednesday's Child

Although my submissions of short stories and poetry did not get published this time around like my academic writing will be, this story came very close. I was told to add more story to the character-driven piece and resubmit it in February. I've been tossing around some ideas on how to add to it by either adding to the end or front loading the piece, each method having it's positives and challenges.

Here is "Wednesday's Child," a piece about a "humanitarian" in the dietary sense.
